Basically I am going to be creating a 3D game level environment inspired by 1920's America, the most notable inspiration comes from "The Great Gatsby" (film & book).
Currently the project has no working title, therefore I'll simply name it '1920's Environment'.
Heres a list of I have decided on for the project.
- I will be using the Unreal 4 Engine to power this environment, this enables me to work directly on both mac and PC to create the game.
- The Game will have a slight stylised art style similar to that of Bioshock infinite (vibrancy, softness & Characture style)
- The level will be linear in a way where it uses the environment to tell a story but re-uses key elements and areas to lead on from that story.
Keeping these three things in mind I must start planning the project properly. Week 01 will consist of creating management tools to narrow down the scope of the project.
